The Hunting Wives, a mystery thriller series created by Rebecca Perry Cutter, has recently attracted some attention from viewers. The series centers on Sophie, who relocates to Texas following her husband’s transfer to Boston. She meets a woman in the city and joins their upscale Hunting Wives Group, where they mingle, in order to establish her identity in the new metropolis. But when a deceased adolescent is discovered and the group has secrets, Sophie’s life takes a drastic change.

This thriller series, which is based on May Cobb’s novel, centers on Brittany Snow’s character Sophie, who relocates to East Texas with her husband Graham (played by Evan Jonigkeit). She meets charismatic Margo (Malin Akerman), who introduces her to the socialite society known as The Hunting Wives, as she struggles with nervousness and the lifestyle. Sophie chooses to enjoy her independence despite her husband’s disapproval—that is, until a dead adolescent is discovered at the venue of their parties. Sophie is the main suspect since her gun was discovered at the scene of the incident. After that, things become more complicated, and she soon has to face the group’s and Margo’s terrible truths.
