OnePlus Turbo Series to Launch Soon with Segment’s ‘Strongest Battery’

On Monday, the OnePlus Turbo series was formally announced. Following months of speculation and excitement about this enigmatic phone, OnePlus China President Li Jie Louis revealed that the business is not only developing the new Turbo series but also intends to release it in the near future. However, the official stated that OnePlus Turbo would be a dedicated series with several phones in the lineup, contrary to earlier rumors that it would be a single phone. Interestingly, earlier sources suggested that the series might debut in India within the next two months.

The OnePlus Turbo Series will prioritize battery life and performance.

The OnePlus China President noted in a Weibo post that the Turbo series was formally announced at the company’s 12th anniversary celebration on Sunday. The CEO highlighted the series’ “strongest battery life in its class” and “frighteningly strong performance” without disclosing any specifications.

According to earlier claims, the business intended to introduce the OnePlus Ace 6 Turbo, a rumored smartphone, in China. It was widely believed to be the same Turbo smartphone that was allegedly being developed. But according to Li Jie’s post, the moniker will refer to a whole lineup rather than just one gadget. Therefore, it’s probable that the alleged smartphone will be a part of the Turbo series rather than the Ace 6 and Ace 6T.

A 6.78-inch LTPS OLED screen with 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate of either 144Hz or 165Hz is anticipated for this smartphone. Additionally, a large 9,000mAh battery is reportedly supporting it. If accurate, these specs also support the post’s emphasis on “strong” batteries and gaming.

The alleged OnePlus Ace 6 Turbo is anticipated to make its debut in China in January or February of 2026, which coincides with the launch schedule. But according to the report, the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 would power this mid-range smartphone.
