The Xiaomi 17 Ultra will soon be sold on the corporate website in China.
The fourth model in the company’s flagship lineup, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, was introduced in China on Thursday. It replaces the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, which was introduced earlier this year in the nation. The smartphone’s battery, CPU, performance, and cameras are just a few of the improvements over its predecessor. Qualcomm’s flagship octa core Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, developed on a 3nm technology, powers the new Xiaomi 17 Ultra. A 50-megapixel primary camera and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera make up the phone’s Leica-tuned rear camera combination.
Xiaomi 17 Ultra Cost and Accessibility
The base model of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage costs CNY 6,999, or around Rs. 90,000. The more expensive model costs CNY 7,499 (about Rs. 96,000) and has 16GB RAM and 512GB of storage. Last but not least, the premium model with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage costs CNY 8,499, or roughly Rs. 1,09,000.
The Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica Edition, on the other hand, costs CNY 7,999 (approximately Rs. 1,02,000) for the 16GB RAM + 512GB storage option and CNY 8,999 (about Rs. 1,15,000) for the 16GB RAM + 1TB storage model. It comes in colors of off-white and black.
On December 27, the Xiaomionline store will launch the new Xiaomi 17 Ultra in China. Black, White, Cold Smoky Purple, and Starry Green (translated from Chinese) are the available colorways.

Features and Specifications of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra
HyperOS 3, which is based on Android 16, powers the Xiaomi 17 Ultra. It has a 6.9-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED screen with Dragon Crystal Glass 3 protection, a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, and a maximum brightness of 1,060 nits. The phone is powered by an Adreno 840 GPU and Qualcomm’s flagship octa core 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 CPU. Additionally, it has 1TB of UFS 4.1 internal storage and up to 16GB of LPDDR5x Ultra RAM.
The Leica-tuned triple rear camera array on the Xiaomi 17 Ultra includes a 50-megapixel LOFIC Omnivision 1050L primary shooter with a 1-inch sensor and optical image stabilization. Additionally, it has a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 3.2x to 4.3x continuous optical zoom and a 50-megapixel Samsung JN5 ultrawide camera. Videos with up to 4K resolution can be recorded on the phone. The phone also has a 50-megapixel OV50M selfie camera on the front.
The 6,800mAh battery of the new Xiaomi 17 Ultra supports both 90W wired and 50W wireless fast charging. It is compatible with Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, USB Type-C, 5G, and 4G LTE. Its dust and water resistance ratings are IP66 + IP68 + IP69. For further protection, the phone has a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. The phone weighs roughly 224g and has a thickness of 8.29mm.
