Now, in a fresh updateon its Support site, the company stated that it is modifying that schedule to guarantee a “smooth transition.” Google says it will continue to work on upgrading Assistant users to Gemini on mobile devices through 2026. The corporation, however, could not provide a specific timeline.
Googlewill provide additional information about the transition in the coming months. Throughout the transition, the organization has also encouraged consumers to provide feedback and suggestions.
Many devices have already switched from Google Assistant to Gemini, and Google expects to upgrade more customers in the coming months. By 2026, Google Assistant will no longer be available on most mobile devices or through app stores.
