Samsung just revealed the world’s first 2nm chipset. The new SoC, known as Exynos 2600, is slated to power the next Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra in some areas. In other areas, Qualcomm’s premium octa core 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor is believed to power the rumored S series devices.

The Exynos 2600 SoC uses sophisticated Gate-All-Around (GAA) technology to integrate the CPU, GPU, and NPU onto a compact platform, claiming to boost artificial intelligence (AI) execution and gaming performance.

While the new Exynos 2600 processor may improve performance, the Galaxy S26 series may not receive camera enhancements. According to reports, the regular Galaxy S26 camera arrangement will be the same as its predecessor, the Galaxy S25, which was released earlier this year. The corporation apparently made the choice in the interest of price. It was noted that the rising cost of components has raised the overall production cost.
