Only new customers in specific locations can take advantage of the Google One and Google AI Pro yearly plan offerings.
On Wednesday, Google revealed a new deal that reduces the cost of the Google AI Pro yearly plan by 50% for qualified users. With the new pricing, the Mountain View-based tech giant is enabling people to access its full suite of artificial intelligence (AI) features with higher rate limits without it being too expensive. However, it is a limited-time offer with restrictions on who can benefit and who cannot. Furthermore, according to a report, Google One’s yearly subscriptions are also offering a comparable discount.
Google One and Google AI Pro Plans are 50% less expensive.
The official Gemini account offered a 50% flat discount on the yearly Google AI Pro package in a post on X (previously known as Twitter). They should not have already purchased the package using that Google account because the promotion is only accessible to new members. Furthermore, only certain areas are eligible for the discount. Although our employees at TECHNOXMART were unable to verify its availability in India, it is available in the United States. Additionally, the deal is only good through January 15.
Therefore, the 12-month Google AI Pro plan, which is typically priced at $199.99 (approximately Rs. 17,950) for the first year, is priced at $99.99 (about Rs. 9,000) for a new user in the US. The following year’s fee will be $239.88 following the promotion period. Users who do not want to continue should either disable the requirement or turn off auto-pay because the membership automatically renews after the offer expires.
Users who subscribe to Google AI Pro will have more access to the Gemini 3 Pro AI model, Nano Banana Pro, Deep Research, Veo 3.1 Fast for video creation, and the Gemini chatbot for all of the company’s Workspace products.
Additionally, users will benefit from 2TB of cloud storage for Gmail, Drive, and Photos.
According to a separate 9to5Google story, Google One is also offering new customers a 50% discount on the yearly subscriptions. The terms and conditions are identical to those of the Gemini plan. Users will now pay $9.99 (about Rs. 900) for a 12-month subscription to the Basic 100GB plan instead of $19.99 (about Rs. 1,800). In a similar vein, the Premium 2TB plan, which normally costs $99.99 (about Rs. 9,000) for a year, is now only $49.99 (about Rs. 4,490).
