The company’s updated 11.5-inch tablet, the Huawei MatePad 11.5 (2026), was introduced in China on Monday. The updated model has an LCD screen with 2.5K resolution and a maximum brightness of 600 nits, and it runs HarmonyOS 5.1. With a Kirin T82B CPU, up to 12GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of storage, the Huawei MatePad 11.5 has a 10,100mAh battery. The Kirin T82 processor powers the Huawei MatePad 11.5′s Soft Light version. The tablet is compatible with the M-Pencil stylus and includes four built-in speakers.

The price of the Huawei MatePad 11.5 (2026) is CNY 1,799 (about Rs. 22,000) for the 8GB+128GB (Wi-Fi only) edition and CNY 2,799 (approximately Rs. 35,000) for the 8GB+256GB (Wi-Fi + Cellular) version.

The 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, and 12GB+256GB RAM and storage versions of the Huawei MatePad 11.5 Soft Light Edition cost CNY 2,099 (approximately Rs. 26,000), CNY 2,299 (about Rs. 29,000), and CNY 2,599 (roughly Rs. 33,000).

With an 11.5-inch TFT LCD display with 2.5K (1,600×2,456 pixels) resolution, a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, a pixel density of 256 pixels, a peak brightness of 600 nits, and an 86 percent screen-to-body ratio, the Huawei MatePad 11.5 comes with HarmonyOS 5.1.

The tablet is also offered in a Soft Light Edition version with an eye-protecting Cloud Clear Soft Light Screen that is said to increase tear film stability by 22% and lessen eye fatigue by 34%.

According to Huawei, the Kirin T82B processor powers the conventional Huawei MatePad 11.5, while the Kirin T82 chip powers the Soft Light variant.

The Huawei MatePad 11.5 has a 13-megapixel camera on the back. There is an 8-megapixel camera on the front for taking selfies. The tablet has three connectivity options: USB Type-C, Bluetooth 5.2, and Wi-Fi. An ambient light sensor, a gyroscope, a gravity sensor, and a hall sensor are among the sensors on board. It features two microphones and four stereo speakers.

The 10,100mAh battery of the Huawei MatePad 11.5 supports 40W rapid charging. It accepts input with the M-Pencil stylus from Huawei.
