Additional Improvements in One UI 8.5 Beta 2 Prior to Stable Release
Samsung may be releasing the One UI 8.5 beta 2 for Galaxy S25 series smartphones in India and other countries including Germany and Poland, according to user remarks on the Samsung Community Forum and X. It is now limited to the company’s most recent Galaxy S series handsets, though, and can only be downloaded if a user has registered to get the most recent beta versions on a compatible phone.
The One UI 8.5 ZYLH Beta 2 update for the Galaxy S25 series includes several enhancements centered on system stability and user experience, according to user reports. According to the official changelog, the update fixes the fast panel menu’s icon spacing and position as well as a problem where the quick panel settings would reset during boot.
The issue of images arranged into gallery group folders being relocated to the first album page is also fixed in the One UI 8.5 beta 2 upgrade. When using the “More View” option while on the phone, it helps with the stuttering problem. Additionally, it resolves problems that prevent the volume up button from functioning in some situations.
The update fixes sporadic rebooting problems, fixes forced closes of some third-party applications, and adds camera and other program optimizations to stabilize the software overall. Through several app upgrades, including the camera, the update stabilizes software and fixes the sporadic restarting problem.
At the start of the month, Samsung made available the One UI 8.5 beta program for the Galaxy S25 series. The Samsung Members app allows users to sign up for the beta program.
