New leaks of the Oppo K15 Turbo Pro suggest a potential shift in CPU approach while maintaining the device’s gaming-focused character. According to recent rumors, Oppo could replace the phone’s Snapdragon CPU with a new MediaTek chipset, even if it still has important features like an active cooling system, a huge battery, and a high-resolution display. Although the exact details of the phone are yet unknown, the leak also raises the possibility that Oppo will add built-in fan cooling to less expensive variants.

The high-end K Turbo series model, which is thought to be the Oppo K15 Turbo Pro, may make its debut with a MediaTek Dimensity 9500s processor, according to a recent Weibo post by tipster Digital Chat Station. A 6.78-inch flat LTPS OLED display with 1.5K resolution, a 50-megapixel primary back camera, a large battery, and an integrated active cooling fan are probably the key features. Additionally, according to the source, Oppo intends to eventually add active cooling fans to lower-end versions.
As previously reported, MediaTek is anticipated to launch a Dimensity 9500e model as well. Customers may become confused by the existence of both “9500e” and “9500s” CPUs, particularly if Oppo does not make a clear distinction between performance levels. For background, aggressive cooling techniques are already a hallmark of Oppo’s K Turbo series. The Oppo K13 Turbo Pro was the first phone to come with built-in fan units and air ducts for active cooling, along with the basic K13 Turbo. The 8GB + 256GB model, which debuted in India in August, costs Rs. 37,999 and is powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 CPU.
The Oppo K13 Turbo Pro has a 16-megapixel front camera, a dual back camera configuration with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor, and a 6.80-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution. In addition, it has IPX6, IPX8, and IPX9 water resistant classifications, a 7,000 sq mm vapor cooling chamber, 80W wired fast charging, and support for bypass charging.
