The Finnish business looks to be getting ready to release the HMD Pulse 2, which will replace the HMD Pulse, which was introduced in April 2024. The characteristics of the new phone have been disclosed by a source, although the smartphone manufacturer has not yet formally confirmed the data. According to reports, the HMD Pulse 2 has an IP54-rated dust and water resistant construction and a 6.7-inch display. The Unisoc T7250 chipset is reportedly included. A 5,000mAh battery with 20W rapid charging capability powers the HMD Pulse 2.
Features and Specifications of the HMD Pulse 2 (Expected)
The main specs of the alleged HMD Pulse 2 (code called M-Kopa X3) were revealed by X user @smashx_60, a tipster with a solid reputation for disclosing Nokia and HMD product data. It is said to include a 6.7-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz and the Android 15 operating system. According to reports, the Unisoc T7250 chipset powers it. In terms of optics, the phone could include a dual back camera unit with a 2-megapixel secondary sensor and a 50-megapixel main camera (f/1.8).
An 8-megapixel front-facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture is expected to be included in the HMD Pulse 2. It is reportedly compatible with a 256GB MicroSD card, 128GB of built-in storage, and 4GB of RAM. For authentication, it could have a fingerprint sensor on the side.
The HMD Pulse 2 will probably have a custom button that may be configured to perform various functions. According to reports, it will include a 5,000mAh battery that supports 20W charging. It is supposed to have an IP54-rated construction or water and dust resistance. The phone may have connection features like NFC and Bluetooth 5.0.
It’s important to note that HMD has not yet released any information on the HMD Pulse 2. As previously said, it is anticipated to have improvements over the regular HMD Pulse, which cost EUR 140 (about Rs. 12,000) when it was introduced in April of last year. Atmos Blue, Dreamy Pink, and Meteor Black are the available colors.
