A rectangular secondary display built within the rectangular camera island on the back of the incoming Lava phone is a tease.
Lava, a domestically owned business, is preparing to introduce a new smartphone in India. Recently, the business revealed a crucial design detail in a teaser for a forthcoming phone on a microblogging platform. It is hinted that it will have two screens, one at the back of the phone and the other next to the camera island. The forthcoming Lava smartphone is said to include two back cameras, although the manufacturer has not yet disclosed any information.
Lava’s Next Smartphone Release
The business revealed via an X post that a new Lava smartphone will soon be available in India. The teaser graphic states that it is “Coming Soon,” although the brand has not yet announced the debut date.
The smaller, rectangular secondary display at the back of the phone is merged into the rectangle-shaped camera island, according to the social media post. For the twin camera arrangement, it comes with two lens rings. The unreleased Lava smartphone will include a 50-megapixel AI camera configuration, according to the embossed writing on the back panel.

The phone’s design features a slightly elevated back camera deco and crisp, rounded corners. The next Lava smartphone’s right frame seems clean, which implies that the volume and power buttons could be on the left side of the frame.
However, the name of the forthcoming phone has not yet been disclosed. It is anticipated to emulate the Xiaomi 17 Pro models, which have dual M10 panels at the rear with a maximum brightness of 3,500 nits.
Notably, in recent years, the domestic company has also released two smartphones with dual screens. Launched in October 2024, the Lava Agni 3 has a 1.74-inch AMOLED touchscreen on the back panel. In the meanwhile, the Lava Blaze Duo, which debuted in December 2024, has a 1.58-inch (228×460 pixels) AMOLED screen with a pixel density of 336 pixels on the back panel.
The business claims that the secondary display on each of the aforementioned smartphones may be used to adjust timer or alarm settings, manage music playing, and shoot selfies using the rear cameras.
