The Redmi Turbo 5 Max and Turbo 5 are now available for purchase on Xiaomi’s website in China.
During the company’s January launch event, the Redmi Turbo 5 and Turbo 5 Max were introduced in China on Thursday. The company’s website presently offers the latest cellphones for sale in the nation. While the Redmi Turbo 5 Max is offered in four color variations, the basic Redmi Turbo 5 is on sale in three shades. A battery of 9,000mAh fuels the Redmi Turbo 5 Max. It has a MediaTek Dimensity 9500s processor, up to 512GB of inbuilt storage, and up to 16GB of RAM. There are two back cameras on each Redmi phones.
The Redmi Turbo 5 Series’ price and availability
The basic Redmi Turbo 5 model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage costs CNY 2,299 (about Rs. 30,000) in China. It’s interesting to note that the 16GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB versions both cost CNY 2,599, or around Rs. 34,000. With 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, the premium model costs CNY 2,899 (about Rs. 38,000). Auspicious Cloud White, Shadow Black, and Shallow Sea Blue (translated from Chinese) are the available colorways for the phone.
In contrast, the Redmi Turbo 5 Max‘s 12GB+256GB RAM and storage combination costs CNY 2,499 (approximately Rs. 33,000) in China, while the 16GB+256GB configuration costs CNY 2,799 (about Rs. 37,000).

The models with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage and 16GB RAM and 512GB storage are priced at CNY 2,999 (about Rs. 40,000) and CNY 3,299 (approximately Rs. 44,000), respectively. Auspicious Cloud White, Sea Breeze Blue, Shadow Black, and Sun Orange (translated from Chinese) are the available colors.

Features and Specifications of the Redmi Turbo 5 Series
Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3, which is based on Android 16, powers the multi SIM Redmi Turbo 5 and Turbo 5 Max smartphones. The 6.59-inch (1,268×2,756 pixel) AMOLED display of the basic Redmi Turbo 5 has a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, a touch sampling rate of up to 480 Hz, a peak brightness of up to 3,500 nits, 68.7 billion colors, Dolby Vision, and compatibility for HDR10+ content.
Additionally, its screen has Wet Hand Touch 2.0 for better touch response while using moist or wet fingertips. The Turbo 5 Max, on the other hand, has a 6.83-inch (1,280×2,772 pixel) AMOLED display with the same brightness level, colors, touch sampling rate, and screen refresh rate.
The Redmi Turbo 5 Max has an octa core 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset with a peak speed of 3.73GHz, whilst the Turbo 5 has an octa core 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra SoC with a clock speed of 3.4GHz. Both phones include internal storage of up to 512GB UFS 4.1 and up to 16GB LPDDR5x Ultra RAM. The phones come with dust and water resistant certifications of IP66 + IP68 + IP69 + IP69K.

The Redmi Turbo 5 series has two rear cameras, one of which is an 8-megapixel (f/2.2) ultrawide camera.
